We've all
heard the saying "If
you give a person a fish, you
have fed
him/her for today. Teach a person to fish, and you have fed him/her for
a lifetime."
Flesh & Spirit Community is about
creating solutions. Personal
growth programs transform us to a first level; learning to teach
transformation is yet another level and the community service
that flows from that personal growth and personal knowing is the
ultimate expression of the solution-based transformation that we teach.
In Flesh
& Spirit Community the basic
foundation
of
transformation is the Peaceful Warrior workshop. The tenents of the
Peaceful Warrior guide us in creating our heart's desire from which
flows our personal teaching and service. These tennents are:
- Asking for
help is critical to achieving a successful life;
- Setting
boundaries to support your energy as well as expanding
boundaries to step
outside the box of limitation is paramount to having a joyful life;
- Living fully
in your "yes" or "no" determines what shows up in your world, therefore
you must manifest consciously;
- Dealing with
Conflict Heartfully allows you to live your purpose. Anything less
means you have given your soul away; and
- Being your own
authority is the power of Spirit within you to know that "all the
answers you'll ever need are inside you."
These
basic tenents guide each of us or limit us from having and being
all we want.
Re-experience
the Peaceful Warrior Workshop on July 14 and then learn
to embody and teach these principles in the Urban Community
Experience
which will be held between August 22 and 27 in San Francisco.
